Digital Fine ART AND LARGE-SCALE architectural COMMISSIONS
Hi, I’m Carmen
I’m a South African digital artist. My practice moves between collectible digital fine art and commissioned architectural installations. I develop bespoke large-scale artworks for corporate and hospitality interiors created in my established visual language and thoughtfully adapted in subject and composition to reflect the character of each environment.

This 2025 original artwork, Neo Eden Safari, has been adapted for large-scale installation, where its layered composition and expansive colour fields command the architectural space.
I approach wall-based work as more than surface decoration. Rooted in original fine art, my practice also focuses on translating artwork into site-specific compositions that respond to space and operate at architectural scale. Each project is developed through a process of thinking, adaptation and refinement, resulting in work that integrates with the built environment.

At studio scale, the work carries narrative detail, birds in motion, wildlife in transition, shifting terrain. When adapted to full wall scale, those element reorganise spatially. The sweeping horizon lines, open sky and bold foreground forms create distinct visual zones that hold their own across a large architectural plane.
What makes this artwork particularly effective at scale is its structural clarity, strong silhouette forms, controlled colour blocking, and defined compositional layers prevent visual fragmentation when enlarged. Instead of becoming overwhelming, the artwork becomes architectural, activating the space, commanding attention and introducing movement without visual chaos.
Flight between Turmoil a Grace captures the elemental power of change. It’s a moment of gratitude, for the feelings and sensations experienced through the beauty of Nature. On a more personal level it’s an evolution of inner power, a step closer to my understanding of appreciation. True beauty is much more than we see. And when we experience it within our being, at core level, its capacity has the most profound effect on us. It’s an elemental experience, like the wind sweeping back your hair and caressing your skin. It creates sensations that lift your spirit to new heights and elicits a feeling of being one with nature. Flight between Turmoil and Grace is an artwork that honours this experience, of personal transcendence.
Art exists both as object and environment.
From collectible editions to large-scale commissions, each artwork begins with intention and is developed within a consistent visual language and adapted thoughtfully to context and scale.
